Conservative North East Mayor candidate Guy Renner-Thompson has toured New College Durham.
New Collage Durham teaches over 5000 pupils every year and offers apprenticeships, A-levels, T-levels and Degrees.
Guy said, "Adult Education and Skills Training are a huge part of my plan for the North East. It was great to be able to tour the collegeand see their amazing facilities. We toured The Copper Pot, T.H.E Hub, and the North East Institute of Technology. It’s fantastic to witness first-hand the innovative work being done and the valuable resources available to students
We also discussed how getting better bus links to the college from the community would make access to education easier and would be a priority for me as Mayor."
